Hi there! Thank you for visiting. I’m Asil  🙂

I’ve always loved telling stories, whether it’s through writing, directing, producing, or acting. I graduated with a Bachelors in English Literature, Creative Writing, and Digital Journalism from the University of Windsor, and a Certificate of Film from Ryerson University’s Film Studies Intensive program.

I’ve been writing and filmmaking for years. Productions I’ve worked on include the feature film, The Tiger Hunter in Los Angeles, directed by Lena Khan and starring Danny Pudi, the short film, On Girls, and the film The Quick and Dirty. I’ve acted in various commercials, films, and recently, the TV show Mangoes: A Slice of Life.

My short film, The Card, which I wrote, produced, directed, and starred is now online. It’s screened at multiple festivals and been featured on CBC’s Absolutely Canadian – Windsor Shorts and on CBC’s Short Film Face-Off.  You can watch it here 🙂 Hope you enjoy.
